Tom Hartley

Tom Hartley is a man many might not know by name, but his impact on golf in Las Vegas runs deep.

As a founding member of the UNLV golf foundation, he was instrumental in bringing future hall of fame head golf coach Dwaine Knight to UNLV in 1986. About a decade later, the Rebels won the NCAA golf championship.

Hartley was also a major contributor to the Las Vegas Founders Club and served as chairperson of LPGA Tour, PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions events in Las Vegas.

He was also a business partner of Jim Colbert and helped create the original Sunrise Country Club.

Now Hartley earns his rightful recognition with his spot in the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame.
